SUKA AGM – 11 January 2023 – A Review
Hello SUKA family and friends,
SUKA hosted our AGM at the Singapore High Commission on Wednesday 11 January from 6pm to 9pm where over 50 SUKA members joined us in person.
The event started with a welcome address by our President Anu Balamurali, followed by the minutes of the last AGM being approved.
Each of our committee member took turns to review each SUKA event in 2022 which started with Chinese New Year on 12 February and ended with the Christmas celebrations on 4 December. We organised a total of 10 events and would like to thank all members for your active participation throughout the year.
Our Treasurer Andrew presented the 2022 annual financial statement which had been audited by Lutfi.
The AGM closed with the Exco presenting the planned calendar of events for 2023 below (please mark them on your calendar):
Chinese New Year: 27 Jan, Friday
Easter: 25 Mar, Saturday
Hari Raya: 22 Apr, Saturday
Charity event: 3 or 10 June, Saturday
National Day: 5 Aug, Saturday
