SUKA Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Celebrations – A Review

Hello SUKA family and friends, 

It’s time to share with you the update of our very own Oueen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations. 

Sunday 29th May – 1pm

A three course lunch at the Gloucester Millennium Hotel

It was attended by 56 fun and fabulous guests who made an effort to join in the ‘royal’ theme, with crowns, tiaras and fascinators. This certainly made it an almost impossible task to decide on our best dressed winners.

Ken, an extremely talented guitarist and Rokshana, a virtuoso violinist, entertained our guests with such elegance and class.

Aparnaa, our gracious emcee, conducted a ‘royal’ themed pub-style quiz which engaged all our guests and tested their knowledge of history with buckets of laughter and fun.

The guests enjoyed a sumptuous meal with endless bubbles and headed to the dance floor towards the finale.

We have a ‘Congratulations’ card for Her Majesty signed by all the guests who were delighted to make this an occasion to remember the delightful, remarkable and record-breaking reign of Queen Elizabeth II.
