SUKA Charity Walk and Step Challenge – June 2023 – A Review

SUKA Charity Walk and Step Challenge – June 2023 A Review

Hello SUKA family and friends

Despite the scorching weather, 25 SUKA members and friends successfully completed a 7km walk around Hyde Park on 10 June 2023 to raise funds for #refuge – a charity that supports woman (and men) and children affected by domestic abuse helping them to escape from torture.

SUKA first timers, all time supporters, family and friends with an age range of 8 to 75 had fun throughout this long walk and enjoyed the vast Hyde Park passing several iconic landmarks culminating with a sumptuous meal at #rasasayang in China town.

Alongside this, some 15 of us are on the Steps Challenge for the whole month of June aiming to walk a total of over 3 million steps.

A huge thank you to all our steppers and walkers for making this happen!

If you do wish to join us and have a record of your steps from 1st June, you can still join us.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us thus far at our Just Giving Page. We appreciate your support very much. We couldn’t have done this without you!

We are hoping that more of you will visit our Just Giving page to cheer us on for this very good cause in any way you can. Little droplets make an ocean.

Look out for the Grand Finale of our charity efforts by way of SINGAPORE FIESTA for Singapore’s 58th National Day.

Please save the date! – Saturday 5th August when we will be celebrating it here in the UK!

Watch this space for more details!

Love,
Your SUKA Ex-Co
