Based on the outcome of AGM 2016 held on Monday, 25 January, SUKA is pleased to announce the new committee for 2016/17. The committee, led by new SUKA President Ms Sharliza Rahman, is as follows:

The AGM was chaired by SUKA President 2014/15 Mr VT Rajah, and audit of accounts conducted by Mr Lutfi Talib. The officiator for the election was Mr Sree Vallipuram, Life Member of SUKA who acted as independent Returning Officer. Mr Lutfi Talib issued a statement announcing that he would be standing down from the election, hence according to the returning officer, there was no challenge to the other nomination put forward for Ms Sharliza Rahman and her proposed committee. The independent Returning Officer is duly satisfied that nomination procedures were conducted fairly and the quorum was met (49 attendees and 30 proxy votes).
SUKA committee and members would like to express our gratitude to the previous committee, especially former President Mr VT Rajah, for a successful two year term.
