Please join us on Saturday 11th July for a trip to the famed Hitchin Lavender at Hertfordshire and surround yourself with beautiful fresh lavender!
Boasting 25 miles of Lavender rows, there are 5 varieties grown there. We start on a guided tour around the Lavender farm which lasts for approx. 1hr 30mins.
After that, it is up to you to take a picnic lunch (they have picnic areas around the lavender fields) or alternatively, there is also a cafe/restaurant inside a 17th Century barn on the farm where we can get snacks such as hot soup, sandwiches, quiches, pastas, various cakes, tea, coffee and soft drinks.
There is also a shop which sells a lot of Lavender products. Children are welcome but they are advised not to trample on the lavender but to keep to the paths.
