Our first organised social event for this year! We were happy to see well over 30 of us having fun and catching up over a spread of lovingly prepared homemade food, delectable cakes and nourishing drinks under a garden marquee set in the leafy Hertfordshire countryside.
Children and adults enjoyed face-painting done by the multi-talented Anu, Easter egg hunt in the garden, passing the parcel and egg and spoon race led by Radha and Peggy, interactive storytelling by Sharliza as well as group-singing Majulah Singapura complete with Singapore flag-waving! We were so glad that the weather held up – it was sunshine all round for our feisty and delightful children.
Thank you to those who came and made the afternoon a roaring mini-success, and special thanks to Peggy, Yvonne, Radha, Manjit and Anu for supplying food & goodies and Rajah for the venue! Hope to see you all at another SUKA event soon.
