SUKA CHINESE NEW YEAR CELEBRATIONS 2022
Gong Xi Fa Cai! 恭喜发财！
After a year of celebrating Chinese New Year on Zoom, the resounding enthusiasm from our members encouraged us to organise our event on 12th February.
100 of our members joined in at Royal China Restaurant at Baker Street for a spectacular event. The 10 course banquet was fit for a king. Singapore’s Deputy High Commissioner to the UK Ms Cheryl Lee was our Guest of Honour for the evening. Entertainment by way of the auspicious Lion Dance and our very own SUKA’s songbird and Vice President Helena Lim-Poole were our highlights for the evening.
Our popular Raffle Draw, with the first prize being a Singapore Airlines return ticket to Singapore, brought the event to a close.
