Centre for Commonwealth Affairs Reception – 17 April 2023 – A Review

Hello SUKA family and friends,

SUKA’s President and Vice President Anu and Helena were invited to attend the launch of the Centre for Commonwealth Affairs reception on Monday 17th April at the Palace of Westminster (Parliament Building)

The Centre brings together figures from across the Commonwealth network to celebrate the start of the government’s work, producing substantive, workable Commonwealth policy work for the 21st Century. The policy framework includes Commonwealth trade, defence and security, maritime policy, academic and scientific cooperation, climate and energy policies etc.

The Centre is headed by Sam Bidwell and Jonathan Heywood and supported by Lord Howell of Guildford. They welcome organisations and individuals to join as members in order to participate in their work. More information can be found on their website: commonwealthaffairs.co.uk
