Chinatown London has written the below about Ellen Chew, the founder of Rasa Sayang:
Ellen’s fascination with food and with cooking was piqued by her mum, who cooked for her family every single day when Ellen was a child. From then, she knew she would eventually pursue a career within the F&B industry – “it is my calling”.
“I think the trait that has helped me tremendously as a businesswoman is tenacity. I never let people convince me about what I can or cannot achieve and I’m very headstrong when I believe in something. I’m not always right, but it has worked in my favour more often than not.”
