After more than a decade with SUKA, Helena is privileged and honoured to be able to continue to serve the SUKA community in the capacity of President for the term 2024/2027. Helena loves doing a portfolio of things as she is always curious and likes to keep busy. She is also very proud to be a Singaporean in the UK, being in a position to fly the Singapore flag high. She is very grateful that SUKA is greatly supported by the Singapore High Commission and Singapore Global Network, allowing SUKA to accomplish many things. Helena moved to the UK in 2006 after securing an investment banking position in the City. She is now settled with a loving and supportive husband and daughter whom many SUKA members have met. Helena has in addition 4 stepchildren and 8 step-grandchildren. Her portfolio of things now include real estate, venture capital, singing in choir groups and SUKA.

Adeline has been a SUKA member for a very long time! She has been on the Ex-Co in different roles under various Presidents as Secretary and more recently, as SUKA’s membership increased, she has enjoyed looking after members, particularly keeping in touch with the older members, especially those who do not have internet access. She also helps to organise events and activities for the members, and making them feel at home. The older members will remember her husband Tony who used to help and participate at events where we had to do our own catering! Those were the days! It’s interesting to see the changes over the years. She is delighted to stay on the Ex-Co again!!
