We need YOU, yes you fellow Singaporean, to take part in our SG50 Community music video. In light of\u00a050 years&#8217; of Singapore independence, this video aims to celebrate the relationships and sense of belonging between citizens and families abroad with their loved ones back at home. The music is based on a song titled \u2018<a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/yBliUVrGLOk\" target=\"_blank\">Singapore, It\u2019s Where We Belong<\/a>\u2019, written and performed by Sharliza Jelita at Singapore Day 2014 in London. This project is kindly supported by SG50 committee, OSU and SUKA. We encourage all Singaporean professionals, students, retired senior citizens, families and children based in Europe to take part!<\/p>\n<p>There are THREE ways you can participate:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The main part of this video is filmed at the <strong><a title=\"Join us at SG50 (28th) March For Charity \u2013 why it is fun\" href=\"http:\/\/suka.org\/home\/join-us-at-sg50-28th-march-for-charity-why-it-is-fun\/\" target=\"_blank\">SG50 March for Charity<\/a> on Saturday 28th March at 10am in Hyde Park, London<\/strong>, where participants of all ages will use the opportunity to send a quick message back home to the camera.\u00a0 We will get all to smile, wave and generally gesture into camera. All attendees must register &#8211; sign up on the <a href=\"https:\/\/sg50-28marchforcharity.yapsody.com\/event\/index\/9181\/sg50-march-for-charity\" target=\"_blank\">SG50 March for Charity webpage<\/a> and make a small donation to Community Chest. Remember to wear RED and\/or WHITE!<\/li>\n<li>We are also collecting footage of you chatting to your families and loved ones in Singapore \u2013 who can record footage onto iPhones and GoPros as you are having a Skype\/Facetime conversation. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=iu1jHtf_oUc\" target=\"_blank\">Check out our inspiration in this video from Apple<\/a> for you to get an idea of how you can shoot. 30 seconds of footage will be ok. Make sure you are in the shot too! 30 seconds of footage will be ok.
