The Symphony Orchestra and Senior Seniors of the NSW Public Schools are two of the best ensembles administered by The Arts Unit of the New South Wales Department of Education.<\/p>\n

The orchestra is currently comprised of 69 musicians and the choir of 42 singers. Students are generally of high school age (with an average age of 16) and represent a range of cultural and socio-economic backgrounds. They will play and sing works of Beethoven, Grieg, Tchaikovsky, Whitacre and more.<\/p>\n
