Patricia Caddy, who contributed the kueh lapis and pineapple tarts as prizes in our recent Chinese New Year dinner, has kindly agreed to give current SUKA members a discount on her cakes. Please go to http://trishcaddy.wordpress.com/ for a list of her current prices and how to order from her. For the 10" x 7" kueh lapis, the SUKA member price is £24 (instead of £29) - no discount on the smaller sizes For the pineapple tarts, the SUKA member price per piece is £0.50 for a minumum order of 30 pieces (£15). These are normally sold at £0.70 per piece, minimum order 30 pieces. Please quote your SUKA membership number when placing your order. Payment in advance after order is accepted and an estimated delivery date is given (minimum notice period is 1 week). Delivery and pickup in London Travel Zone 1 only, no delivery by post as the products are perishable. General conditions:
Please note that a condition of membership is that you have to be resident in the United Kingdom and have a current UK postal address at the time of application for membership. We cannot therefore accept membership applications from people based in Singapore, even if they are intending to relocate to the UK for studies or work purposes. You will have to wait until you arrive in the UK to apply, when we shall be pleased to welcome you as a member.
